ORI AVGIL

Ori is a seasoned defense industry professional, specializing in program management and large-scale acquisition programs between Israel and the U.S. Known for delivering results and building trust, he is a reliable partner in complex, strategic defense initiatives. At the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Ori led multi-billion-dollar acquisition programs, with deep expertise in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS/DCC). He managed end-to-end program lifecycles: requirements definition, contracting, execution, risk management, and delivery—while optimizing defense spending and ensuring on-time, on-budget performance. His work strengthened international supply chains, improved coordination between governments, primes, and subcontractors, and directly boosted operational readiness. As Chief of the Israeli Ground Forces Budget Planning Branch, Ori managed large defense portfolios, identified major cost-saving opportunities, led complex negotiations, and ensured seamless integration of programs across multiple military and civilian organizations—turning strategy into executable, measurable results.
