ORI AVGIL

Ori is a seasoned defense industry professional specializing in program management and large-scale acquisition programs between Israel and the United States. Known for delivering results and building trust, he is a reliable partner in complex defense initiatives. At the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Ori led multi-billion-dollar acquisition programs, developing deep expertise in Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS/DCC). He managed the full program lifecycle-from requirements and contracting through execution, risk management, and delivery-while optimizing defense spending and ensuring on-time, on-budget performance. As Chief of the Israeli Ground Forces Budget Planning Branch, Ori managed major defense portfolios, identified significant cost-saving opportunities, led complex negotiations, and coordinated programs across military, government, and industry organizations. His work strengthened international supply chains and transformed strategic objectives into executable, measurable results.
